Thomas Hugh Andrews, Sr.

Mr. Thomas Hugh Andrews Sr., 68, of Albany, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home on Monday, May 18, 2026. The family will receive  friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. 

Mr. Andrews was born on July 8, 1957, in Louisville, KY to the late Amos and Betty Andrews. He retired from the Marine Corps Logistics Base after 39 years of civil service as a System Program Analyst. In his younger years he was a dedicated Boy Scout and earned the Honor of Eagle Scout and Member of the Order of the Arrow with B.S.A. Mr. Andrews enjoyed all outdoor activities and especially fishing (even as a self-proclaimed “Shark Dentist.”)One of his favorite places was St. George Island, FL. He loved lighthouses and collecting guns. Mr. Andrews will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 46 years, Glenda Andrews; his sons, Charles Andrews of KY, Justen Andrews of KY, and Thomas Andrews Jr., of Sylvester; his daughter, Samantha Andrews Weaver (Jason) of Tallahassee; his grandsons, Robert Breton and Cameron Tompkins; his brothers, Lee Andrews (Denise) and Roy Andrews both of KY; his nephew, Matt Andrews (Alisha); and his niece, April Combs (Clay.)

Hall and Hall Funeral Home has been given the honor to serve the Andrews family.
