Thelma Denham

Mrs. Thelma Carroll Denham, 93, of Leesburg and formerly of Camilla, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the home of her daughter in Leesburg.

Visitation and viewing will be held at Hall & Hall Funeral Home on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services honoring her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 12, 2025, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Mitchell County with Rev. Ricky Griner officiating. Following the funeral, she will be laid to rest beside her husband in the church cemetery.

Born May 30, 1932, in Mitchell County, Mrs. Denham was the daughter of the late Frank and Vernie Beavers Carroll. She was a loving and devoted homemaker who cared well for her family. She loved to cook and had the best cornbread dressing and lace cornbread. She loved her flowers and enjoyed watering and caring for them each day. She loved the Lord Jesus, her family and her pets. Mrs. Denham was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Mitchell County for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Nix Denham; her son, Larry Bradshaw; and her siblings, Bradley Carroll and Myrtle Nix.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Linda Bradshaw of Camilla, Emmett Denham of Leesburg, and Michelle Dean and Tim of Leesburg; grandchildren and their spouses, Tabatha Johson, Juanita Montieth, EJ Denham, Jake Denham, Madison Cason and Zachary, Randi Kunkle and Chris, Ryan Dean and Payton, Misty Smith and Xavier; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and extended family that loved her dearly.
