Mr. Steven Robert Dauphinais, Sr., 60, of Albany, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital while surrounded by his loving family. Born August 12, 1955 in Queens, NY, Mr. Dauphinais was the son of Mr. Conrad F. Dauphinais, Sr. and the late Mrs. Roberta E. Boardman. He was known as a hard working man who retired after 38 years as a mechanic at the Marine Corps Logistics Base of Albany, Ga. Mr. Dauphinais was devoted to his family, friends and anyone else that was in need of help. When he wasn’t working, Mr. Dauphinais spent his time playing video games. Most of all he enjoyed every moment he was given to play with his beautiful grand babies. To his friends he was known as just, Dauphinais. Survivors include a loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Mrs. Agnes T. Janes; son and daughter-in-law, Steven R. and Anna Dauphinais, Jr. of Albany, GA; daughter, Andrea T. Dauphinais of Albany, GA; grandchildren, Kelsey M. Barber, Victoria L. Dauphinais, D. Austin Senn, Amber D. Senn; and several Nieces and Nephews. By request of the family, Mr. Dauphinais’s remains have been cremated. There will be a private memorial service held in his memory at a later date.
