Simon A. Francisco

Simon Francisco, a contractor, and resident of Albany, GA died unexpectedly at the age of  47 on July 3, 2022. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022, in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his mother Isabel Antonio Gaspar. Simon was born in Guatemala on April 21, 1975. He married Candelaria Juan-Cristobal in Albany in December 2003 at Iglesia El Faro, sharing 19 years of marriage. Later on, they welcomed three children: Faustino, Elizabeth, and Jessica. They welcomed their firstborn  Faustino Francisco in October 1998, later on, they welcomed his two beautiful daughters. Elizabeth Francisco in December  2000 and Jessica Francisco in January 2002.  He was motivated to become a better person and in the late 90s he decided to travel from  Barillas, Guatemala to Albany, GA. His American dream had become true when he established his construction company “RFC Construction” in 2007.  Simon was a devoted helper. He had a genuine heart and was always willing to lend a hand. No one who met Simon forgot how helpful he was when they needed help with anything. He enjoyed playing soccer, fishing with his kids, and drinking an iced cold beer whenever he could.  A beloved dad that enjoyed and encouraged his kids in everything they accomplished. He had the honor to see all of his kids graduate and be able to congratulate all of them for their accomplishments as they become adults. He would always give a speech for pretty much everything that his children accomplished. He would find some type of way to support and give some type of word of wisdom to help calm those nerves and put them more at ease.  As the father figure that he was no matter what bump came on their way, he would always find a way to forget and forgive and continue to be there for everyone.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
