Sandra Howe Scott

Mrs. Sandra Howe Scott, 78, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at her home while surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 23, 2023, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Following the service family and friends are invited to visit together at the family residence at 2007 Mcintosh Rd. Albany GA 31707.

Born on April 8, 1945, in Savannah, Mrs. Scott was the daughter of the late Joseph and Marie McDowell Howe. She was a devoted homemaker to her family and loved them all deeply, especially her grandbabies. She enjoyed cooking, going to flea markets and dollar stores. She was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Scott was preceded in death by her grandson, J.C. Lawson and her brother, Charles Howe, and her infant brother.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Scott of Albany; children, Joe Rogers and Sherrie of Sylvester, Sonya Keene of Sylvester, Rebecca Lawson of Albany, Dana Hart and Buddy of Albany, and Pamela Carrillo and Jose of Leesburg; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Patsy Dixon of Biloxi MS; and Sylvia Scott of Sylvester; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
