Ruth Hutchison

Mrs. Ruth Hutchison, of Albany, was called to her Heavenly home on June 7, 2022. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022, in Floral Memory Gardens with Rev. Danny Evans officiating. Ruth was born December 10, 1933. She was happily married to her husband, Asa Hutchison, for 64 years until he preceded her in death December 16, 2017. After spending twenty years as an Air Force bride, she and Asa settled in Albany, GA when he retired from the Air Force. Ruth was a beloved member of the First Baptist Church of Putney, GA which she attended for many years until her health would no longer allow it. Though she could no longer physically attend; her faith never wavered. Ruth was also preceded in death by her mom and dad as well as her five siblings. She is survived by her three children Steve Hutchison of Darien, GA, Toni Collier (and husband John) of Albany, GA and Mark Hutchison of Fort Mill, SC. Ruth also is survived by four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Hall and Hall Funeral Home was given the honor to serve the Hutchison family.
