Roberta Burke Lambert

Mrs. Roberta Burke Lambert, 87, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Andersonville National Cemetery. Pastor Tim Bass will officiate with the family visiting with friends following the service.  

Born April 3, 1937, in Millen, Mrs. Lambert was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mable Peel Burke. She was a loving homemaker that cared well for her family that she deeply loved. She was a proud military wife and loved The Lord. She was known as a prayer warrior who would always take up for her family. Mrs. Lambert was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Acree. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lambert was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bob” Lambert that passed away on May 1, 2021, and her granddaughter, Amy. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Teresa Burnham and Ricky of Albany, and Robert P. Lambert; 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
