Randy Keith Allegood

Mr. Randy Keith Allegood, 57, of Doerun, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 15, 2014 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Karen Carr and Rev. Anson Jackson will officiate with interment to follow in the Funston Cemetery. Born March 1, 1957, Mr. Allegood was the son of Milton Lamar Allegood and Eloise Harrell Allegood. He had worked for the City of Doerun as a mechanic, volunteered with the Doerun Fire Department and enjoyed working in his yards. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Lamar Allegood. Survivors include his wife, Vivian Blanchard Allegood of Doerun; his mother, Eloise Harrell Allegood of Doerun; son, Garrett and Crystal Allegood of Juliette, GA; daughter, Angela and Jeff Stevens of Stockbridge, GA; brothers, Terry and Nelda Allegood of New Jersey and Kenneth and Rachel Allegood of Doerun; sister, Melinda Allegood of Doerun and 5 grandchildren, Dakota, Tevyn, Tai, Kai and Kira. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 14, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
