Philip Kevin Davis

Mr. Philip Kevin Davis, aged 55, of Albany, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6, 2026, at Morningside Methodist Church in Albany, GA, followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery.

Born on July 18, 1970, in Dougherty County, Kevin was the beloved son of Jack and Martha Davis. Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in his youth, Kevin also participated as a drummer in the Marching and Symphonic Band at Dougherty High School. His passion for woodworking led to many cherished projects for his church. Kevin’s love for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of camping and his dedication to his career as an over-the-road truck driver, which he considered his true calling. Earlier in his life, he worked as a printer/pressman for the Albany Herald.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Jack and Martha Davis; his sister, Erin Davis; fiancée, Traves Steele; and many extended family members.

The Davis family is being cared for by Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
