Patricia Pye McCook

Mrs. Patricia Pye McCook, 72, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Willson Hospice House.

Services honoring her life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2026, in the chapel of Hall & Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Chris E. Turner and her brother, Mr. Phil Pye will officiate. The family will visit with friends following the service.

Born June 17, 1953, in Albany, Pat was the daughter of the late Walter Albert Pye, Sr. and Alice Ruth Shiver Pye. She worked in production for several years at Peter Pan Peanut Butter. She greatly loved her family and her animals. She was of the Christian faith and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis McCook, and her siblings, Linda Pye Casey, and John Pye.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Richard Keith Cornelius and Kisha of Albany; daughter, Melissa Gail Burris and Charlie; special niece that was like her daughter, Kelly Holloway and Rob of Leesburg; several grandchildren including Jonathan Cornelius that lived with her, nieces, nephews and extended family.
