Novella Faye Grubb

Ms. Novella Faye Grubb, 94, of Albany, passed away on Monday evening, October 27, 2025, at Pruitt-Palmyra Nursing Home.

Born April 05, 1931, in Funston, Ms. Grubb was the daughter of the late William Oliver Carden and Cora Folds Carden. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years and was of the Christian faith.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, June Johnson and Sylvia Thompson of Leesburg; her brother, William O. Carden, Jr. of Belle Glade, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Commons; her brothers, Marion Carden and Edward Carden; and her sisters, Mae Emma McMurrian, Winnie Langford, Zetra Grant, and Grace Becker.

In accordance with her wishes she will be cremated and no services are planned.
