Nina Elaine Loomis Rose

Mrs. Nina Elaine Loomis Rose, 83, of Albany peacefully passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Willson Hospice House.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Crown Hill Cemetery. Rev. Raymond Levreault will officiate, and the family will visit with friends following the service.

Born August 11, 1940, in Erie, PA, Mrs. Rose was the daughter of the late Joy L. Loomis and Gertrude Guckes Loomis. She was a loving mother and homemaker who was a dedicated military wife to her beloved husband. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Teresa’s Catholic Church and will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Charles Rose who passed away on May 11, 2020, and several siblings.

Survivors include her children, Michael Rose (Schryl) of Roswell, Michele Rose Self (George) of Florida, and Christoper Rose of Albany; 3 grandchildren, Michael Wayne Self (Erin), Jennifer Kristine Spencer (John), and Steven Tyler Rose (Maggie); and 7 great-grandchildren.
