Mr. Nathan Deuel Lesley, 63, of Gadsden, AL, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, surrounded by his family. Graveside Services will be held at the Sumner Cemetery on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Robin Chaplin will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
Mr. Lesley was born on September 30, 1962, in Guntersville, AL. He was self employed in the Construction industry. He was very good with his hands and a “Jack of All Trades” and a great Carpenter. Nathan was an avid Pool player and enjoyed playing cards as well. Mr. Lesley was a Die-Hard BAMA fan: “Roll Tide”. Nathan also was a dedicated Elks Lodge member and the ROTC chapter while he was in High School. He will be remembered as a loyal man, who helped people and would give his last dollar in that endeavor. Mr. Lesley was greatly endeared to his family, and he was considered by them the “Best Dad” in the world.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janice Lesley of Gadsden, AL; father Hershel Lesley of Boaz, AL; children, Ashley (Russell) Slappey of Albany, GA, Alicia (Quincey) English of Albany, GA, Jonathan Kennedy of Raliegh, NC, Jason (Caitlin) Clements of Lawrenceville, GA, Rebecca (Robert) Carranco of Conneaut, OH, Kevin Holton of Lebanon VA, and Lisa Daniels of Albany, GA; his grandchildren Bella Blackwell, Darren & Daylon Scarbrough, Shayne Goodman, Dante & Kairi Carranco, Lucy & Cheyenne Holton, Alyssa (McKay) Swords, and Aaliyah Herren; his sisters, Roxie (Kenny) Pell of Horton, AL, Dora Lesley of Gadsden, AL, Samantha (Mark) Patterson of Boaz, AL; his bother Ronnie (Kristy) Lesley of Albertville, AL; his four great Grandchildren and his cousins, nieces and nephews that he was very close to.
Mr. Lesley is preceded in death by his daughter Alexis Nadine Lesley, and his mother and step-father, Nadine Hartley and Larry.
Hall and Hall Funeral Home has been given the honor to serve the Lesley family.
