Melody Dean Bridgeman

Mrs. Melody Dean Bridgeman, 73, of Tallahassee, FL, peacefully passed away at her son’s home, in Ashburn, GA on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Born on May 18, 1953, in Odessa, TX, Melody was the daughter of the late Julius and Bernilla New Gunn. She was a loving and devoted homemaker that enjoyed her time spent with family. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and loved her cats.

In addition to her parents, Melody was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Bridgeman, and her son, Bob.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, John Eric Bridgeman and Laura of Tallahassee FL, and Tim Eugene Bridgeman II and Becky of Ashburn, GA; 7 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings, Martha, Jay, and Ray; several nieces, nephews, and extended family that loved her.

The family will host a celebration of life service at a later date in Texas.

Hall & Hall Funeral Home of Albany, GA, has been entrusted with the care of the Bridgeman family.
