Mrs. Mary Faye Poole, 81, of Worth County, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at her home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Chris E. Turner will officiate with interment to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery of Worth County.
Born on July 24, 1942, in Andrews, S.C., Mary was the daughter of the late Roy Wheeler Ray and Rena Wiglesworth Ray. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and writing poems. She also enjoyed fishing and loved the beach. She was a member of Lighthouse Ministries of Putney for many years, loved the Lord, and her family most of all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Ronald Poole and her daughter, Cynthia Rigsby.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Janet Marie Fritz, Charles Richard Cooper and Melissa, and Ronald Ray Poole and Denise all of Worth County; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Betty (Terrell) Thompson, Larry (Yvette) Eaddy and Jerry Eaddy.
