Lynn Terry Whitehead

Mrs. Lynn Terry Whitehead, 63, of Albany, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at her home.

Services honoring her life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, in the chapel of Hall & Hall Funeral Home with Joseph W. Jones officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service at the home of her brother, Chuck at 101 Goldenwood Dr. Sylvester, GA 31791.

Born May 1, 1962, in Albany, Lynn was the daughter of the late Charlie F. Turner and Jacqueline Clark Turner. She worked in the family business with her parents for many years at Albany Floral and continued serving as a dedicated florist and owner after her parents passing. She always had the most beautiful smile and absolutely loved to laugh. She was a bright light in this world and was always willing to help anyone in need with a grateful heart. She loved her dog, Sunny, her numerous cats, and enjoyed drawing and painting. She attended Philema Road Baptist Church with her dear friend Martha Radcliffe and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Todd Evan Whitehead of Albany; her son, Christopher Garrett Johnson of Albany; brothers, Charlie F. “Chuck” Turner, Jr. and his wife, Crissy of Sylvester, and Ken Turner and his wife, Marcy of Panama City Beach; granddaughter, Ashtyn Walker; great-grandchildren, Aviana and Azaiah; several nieces, nephews, and extended family that loved her dearly.

In lieu of flowers, and in recognition of Lynn’s deep love for animals, especially cats, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Missy Kitty’s Feline Sanctuary in Thomasville, a cause close to her heart at https://www.misskittysanctuary.org.
