Mrs. Kay Francis Fallin Skandamis, 91, of Putney, peacefully passed away into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at her home while surrounded by her beloved family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 6, 2026, in the chapel of Hall & Hall Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Rev. Thomas Morey and her son-in-law, Pete Amato will officiate with interment to follow in the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, in Thomas County at 3:00 p.m. Her grandsons will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Born on July 31, 1934, in Coolidge, Kay was the daughter of the late Sterling Fallin and Mildred Lasseter Fallin. She was a loving and devoted homemaker who loved more than anything to be with her family. She loved Jesus, worshipping him, singing gospel music and was a devoted prayer warrior. It was often she could be found shouting, dancing and magnifying her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She enjoyed working in her yard and going fishing. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend she will be greatly missed until we meet again.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Skandamis; infant sister, Simmie Colleen Fallin, other siblings, Lewis, Jacquelyn, Jeane, Dolly, and Andra.
Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband, of 68 years and 34 days, Paul Skandamis; her children, Margaret “Lesley” Williams and Randy of Albany, Chris Edwards and Talmadge of Baconton, Stephanie Guarino and David of Townsend, Andrew Skandamis and Shawn of Albany, Andrea Amato and Pete of Leesburg; siblings, Sterling Fallin and Barbara of Tennessee, Sandra Newell and Roy of Baconton, Nick Fallin and Lee of Sylvester, Danny Fallin and Christine of Putney, and Timothy Fallin of Leesburg; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family.
