John Jr. Haggerty

John William Haggerty, Jr. 69, of Albany passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at his home. The memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2010 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Born April 23, 1940 in Baltimore, Maryland, Mr. Haggerty was a truck driver for many years and served in the Navy. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Survivors include his wife, Virginia ldquo;Gingerrdquo; A. Lesko Haggerty of Albany; mother, Bertha E. Neugebauer of Sylvester; son, Grady Van Haggerty and his wife, Jennifer of Alford, FL; daughter, Patricia Bean and her husband, Victor of Sylvester; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Haggerty, Reverend Roland Cross, Paul Cross and Darrell Cross; sisters, Patricia Hunt, Molly Parker, Betty Jones and Linda Farris. He was preceded in death by his father, John William Haggerty; step-father, Grady H. Cross; sister, Beverly Norton and a brother, Alton Cross. The family will receive friends following the service.
