James “Jb” Kevin Brown

Mr. James “JB” Kevin Brown, 65, of Sylvester, passed away at his home on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

A memorial service honoring his life will be held at a later date.

Born April 11, 1957, in Kingston, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph Earl Brown Jr. and Joan Patricia Knauert Brown. He was a talented cabinet builder and did so his entire career until he retired. JB loved motorcycles and working on his hot-rod and was a friend to many. He was known as a gentle soul who always made everyone feel welcomed, loved, and would help anyone in need. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed by all.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Betty Brown of Sylvester; children, Breanna Cauthen of SC, Jennifer Cassidy of Cordele, and Regina McCurdy of Cordele; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Alison Childs (Kevin) of Lee County, Allen Brown of Moultrie, Christine Chapman of West Palm Beach, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Hall and Hall Funeral Home was given the honor to serve the Brown family.
