Hilton Eugene Marchant

Mr. Hilton Eugene Marchant, 94, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Mr. Marchant will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife at Andersonville National Cemetery. Services are private.

Born on January 4, 1932, in Fort Benning, GA, Hilton grew up in a military family. He was proud to also join the service and served in the Korean Conflict in the United States Navy. Later he served in the Air Force and retired from his years of dedicated service. He then worked for many years at Proctor & Gamble from which he also retired. He enjoyed being outside, fishing and spending time with family. His greatest joy in life was caring for his beloved wife, Alice, and he longed to be with her since her passing on July 22, 2026. We take comfort in knowing they are together again in Heaven.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Alice McDougal Marchant; an infant brother; his grandson, Christopher and great-grandson, Christopher; and two sisters.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Terry Marchant of Worth County, Bonnie Burrell and Mark of Crawfordville, FL, and Jane Swanson and David of Leary; and grandchildren that he dearly loved, Lacy, Kayla, Kyle, and Corey.
