Hilda Schuster Arnold

Mrs. Hilda Schuster Arnold, 94, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026, at her home.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in Floral Memory Gardens with Rev. Eron White and Rev. Paul Pritchard officiating. The family will visit with friends following the service.

Born on January 30, 1932, in Steineback am Worthsee, Germany, Hilda was a loving and devoted Airforce serviceman’s wife and devoted mother to her children. She worked at Belk’s for several years, loved growing vegetables and sharing them with her friends and church members. Her greatest love was God and her family, and she was a faithful member of Albany Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Amos W. Arnold and 7 siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Helen Arnold of Albany, Amos W. Arnold and Theresa of Alabama, and L.J. Arnold and Barbara of Leesburg; grandchildren, Kathy, William, Matthew, and Adam, several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
