Harold Edward Walton

Mr. Harold Edward Walton, 88, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services honoring his life will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Albany on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. The burial will be at Floral Memory Gardens, 120 Old Pretoria Rd., Albany, GA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Albany, GA.

Mr. Walton was born to the late Edward and Josphine Walton on October 31, 1936, in Linglestown, PA. He proudly served our country in the U.S.M.C and retired as a Master Gunnery Sgt after 23 faithful years. Harold LOVED to play Golf, often playing 3-5 times per week when his health permitted. He also enjoyed gardening. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Harriet Walton; his daughter, Debra Picard of Montpelier, VT; his sons, Edward Walton of Albany, and David Walton (Faye) of Leesburg; his grandsons, Michael and Chris Picard; and his great granddaughter, Adrianna.
