Hady Maurice Walker

Mr. Hady Maurice Walker, 72, of Dalton and formerly of Albany, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 27, 2016 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kimball United Methodist Church in Anderson City. Born November 21, 1943 in Worth County, Mr. Walker was the son of the late Toy and Ima Dickerson Walker. He served his country in the United States Navy and retired from Mohawk Industry after many years. Mr. Walker enjoyed fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Cathy Walker of Dalton; 4 sons, Michael and Gwen Walker of Sylvester, Christopher Walker of Chatsworth, Shane and Brittany Walker of Dalton and Jeremy Walker of Dalton; brother, Marion Durrell Walker of Baconton; sister, Ima Carolyn Lawson of Dalton; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. before the funeral service.
