Gilbert Neal Webb, JR.

Mr. Gilbert Neal Webb, Jr. 69, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at his home while surrounded by his beloved family.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 26, at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, 220 W. Oglethorpe Blvd. Albany, GA 31701. Father Thomas Frazer will officiate with interment to follow in the Crown Hill Cemetery.

Born on August 18, 1957, in Tifton, Gilbert was the son of the late Gilbert Neal Webb, Sr. and Clara Mae Mathis Webb. He worked as an executive superintendent for H.C. Coleman & Company. He loved God, his family, his farm and was a patriotic man who loved his country. He was known as a kind, generous soul with the biggest heart that would help anyone in time of need. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing. He was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church of Albany. He was certainly a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be greatly missed until we meet again in Heaven.

In addition to his parents, Gilbert was preceded in death by his daughter, Billie Webb; brother, Rusty Webb; and his sister, Peggy Webb.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Mary C. Webb; daughter, Shellie Jo Webb of Chula, GA; grandson, Parker Webb; siblings, Roger Webb and Julie, Carolyn Crabtree, Lloyd Webb and Rhonda, Marie Mobley, Kay Waldrop and Randall, and Deneen White and Jerry; several nieces, nephew, and extended family.
