Frank Gerald Story

Mr. Frank Gerald Story, 78, of Albany, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Hospital.

A viewing and visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Hall & Hall Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., in Marshall County Memory Gardens, in Benton, KY.

Born on March 28, 1947, in Wayne County, Michigan, Frank was the son of the late, William and Pansy Story. He spent most of his years as a child in Kentucky. The Marine Corp Logistics Base brought him and his family to Albany, GA from Lexington KY. He loved his music! He was well known for his music shows at personal care homes, retirement villages, and Senior citizen centers. He spent many years as a DJ for Christian radio including the local Southern Gospel morning with Frank and Sonny on 90.7 FM. He never met a stranger and loved The Lord and his family more than anything. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his 3 daughters, Paula Higginbotham (Duane deceased) of Sylvester, GA, Dawn Adams (Chuck Adams) Lizella, GA, and Edosha Hatcher Albany GA; 2 sisters, Betsy Ward (Joe) Paducah, Patsy Bradley (Gary) Calvert City, KY, and a Sister-in-law, Hortense Allen of Houston, Mississippi; 8 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife Wanda Nichols Story 54 years.
