Ethel May Nygaard, 79, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
Born on November 24, 1946, in Tifton, Ethel was the daughter of the late Collin Smith and Blannie Rutherford Smith. She enjoyed gardening, cooking for her family, and caring for her cats. She loved The Lord, her family, and her church family at Liberty Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Katie Smith.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Don Nygaard of Albany.
