Elizabeth Reynolds

Mrs. Elizabeth Reynolds, 81, of Oakfield, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Willson Hospice House in Albany.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Harrell officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest beside her husband in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Monday, January 16, 2023, at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.

Born June 6, 1941, in Shoshone, ID, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Dale Ormsby and Edith Gaerte Booth. Mrs. Reynolds retired from the City of Albany where she worked in a clerical position. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed singing in a Gospel group with her husband and daughter before her husband's passing. In her free time, she enjoyed creating diamond puzzles and working in her garden. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she will be greatly missed by all.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Joe Reynolds, Sr., her son, Christopher Keith Cyr, and her daughter, Tammy Evers.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Guy Cyr and Sandy of Oakfield; stepsons, Lee Reynolds and Crystal of Albany and Wade Reynolds and Angie of Leesburg; stepdaughter, Jody Price and Daniel of Worth County; sister, Geraldine Jardine of Montgomery, AL; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
