Dennis F. McCook

Mr. Dennis F. McCook, 74, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026.

A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Hall & Hall Funeral Home. His brother-in-law, Mr. Phil Pye will officiate, and the family will visit with friends following the service.

Born on August 15, 1951, in Ocilla, Dennis was the son of the late Harold F. McCook and Doris Louise Cox McCook. He worked in construction and iron work most of his life and enjoyed traveling. He loved old westerns, riding and breaking horses but mostly enjoyed spending time with his beloved family. He was Baptist by faith and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Louise Cox.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Patricia McCook; children, Dennis F. McCook, Jr. and Heather of Fitzgerald, Chuck F. McCook, Jennifer Ann McCranie of Ocilla, Keith Cornelius and Kiesha, and Melissa Burris; brother, James William McCook and Debbie; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
