Mr. David Duhart Duke, 80, of Albany, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at his home.
Born on January 2, 1944, in Newton, Mr. Duke was the son of the late Lester and Lola Duke. He worked for Firestone Tire and retired from Jameson Bedding. He enjoyed fishing and camping, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was of the Baptist faith and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Melody Duke of Albany; children, David Duke and Stacie of Albany, Billy Duke and Margie of Worth County, Tina Casey of Lee County, Kitty Duke, Crystal Powell of Lee County, Cassandra Childs of Sumner, and Stacy Moody of Eastman; siblings, Tim, Ted, Frances, and Kay.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024 in the Live Oak Church Cemetery, in Newton. Rev. Jamie Sanders will officiate and the family will visit with friends following the service at the cemetery.
