Mr. Curtis William Wills, 70, of Baconton, passed away on Wednesday evening, December 31, 2025, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2026, in the chapel of Hall & Hall Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Joseph W. Jones will officiate with interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Travelers Rest Cemetery, in Newton.
Born on April 12, 1955, in Albany, Curtis was the son of the late Charles and Juanita Langdale Wills. He worked as a pipe welder for many years and then was a rental property owner in the area. He enjoyed the outdoors, working on his tractors, and loved his goats. He was called MacGyver by his family as he could fix nearly anything. He was of the Christian faith and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Mike Thomas and Jenny of Americus; 3 grandchildren, Makayla Thomas Epps and Tristan of Americus, Mikey Thomas of Americus, and Gracie Thomas of Leesburg, great-grandson, Weston Epps; brothers, Roger Wills and Diane of Leesburg, and Charlie Wills of North Carolina, several nieces, nephews and extended family.
