Curtis Wayne Hopkins

May 20, 1963 — January 15, 2024

Mr. Curtis Wayne Hopkins, 60, of Sylvester, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2024, at Willson Hospice House, in Albany.


Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2024, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the funeral. Rev. Danny Evans will officiate.


Born on May 20, 1963, in Albany, Curtis loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting, and fishing. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Dougherty County and was a member of First Baptist Church of Putney. Most of all he loved his family, and he will be greatly missed until we meet again.


He was preceded in death by his father, C.W. Hopkins, and his brother-in-law, Greg Wages.


Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Jean Hopkins of Putney; sisters, Carol Shaw and Bobby of Baconton and Emily Wages of Mitchell County; niece, Ashton Wages Oxford and Clay of Lake Blackshear; nephew, Austin Wages of Chicago, IL; great-niece, Isabella Oxford; and great-nephew, Perry Oxford.
