Billy F. Bishop

Mr. Billy F. Bishop, 80, of Albany, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. (EST), Wednesday, September 25, 2024, in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Bass will officiate with interment to follow in the Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, in the Corinth Community of Cragford, AL. at 2:00 p.m. (CST).

Born on February 17, 1944, in Ashland, AL, Billy was the son of the late Frank T. Bishop and Elsie Bishop. He worked for many years and retired from The Moore Business Forms of Albany. He enjoyed working on race cars and racing. He was of the Baptist faith and will greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Bishop was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nell Bishop on May 23, 2023, and several siblings.

Survivors include his children, Franky Bishop and Donna of Albany, Scott Bishop of Vienna, and Shannon Bishop of Mitchell County; 3 grandchildren, Scottie, Randa, Cole, several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
