Alice Marie Marchant

Mrs. Alice Marie Marchant, 90, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at her home while surrounded by her beloved family.

Born on August 4, 1935, in Fort Fairfield, Maine, Mrs. Marchant was the daughter of the late Preston and Mary Jane Guimond McDougal. She was a loving and devoted homemaker for her family and a proud military wife to her beloved husband of 72 years. Her entire life was devoted to bringing joy and happiness to her family. She enjoyed sewing, and square dancing with her husband. She was of the catholic faith and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher and 4 siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Hilton Marchant; children, Terry Marchant of Worth County, Bonnie Burrell and Mark of Crawfordville, FL, and Jane Swanson and David of Leary; and 3 grandchildren that she adored, Lacy, Kayla, Kyle, and Corey.

In accordance with the wishes of Mrs. Marchant her remains will be cremated and the family will have a private service at a later date.
