Warren Eugene Dias

Mr. Warren Eugene Dias, 70, of Albany, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at his home. Mr. Dias will be laid to rest at Andersonville National Cemetery. Due to COVID 19, there will be a family only visitation held at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The family will have a memorial service at a later date at Andersonville, when the restrictions are lifted. Born March 1, 1950, in Newton, Mr. Dias was the son of the late Vassa and Dessie McConnell Dias. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired from civil service with the Marine Logistics Base in Albany. He was of the Christian faith, loved his family dearly, and also loved his cat. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Arnett Dias; children, Jennifer Summerford of Albany, Stephanie Dias of Colorado, Michael Dias of Oregon; niece that they raised, Ashley Webb of Albany; sisters, Frances, Patricia, and Debbie; special niece, Jean Hudson; grandchildren, Lillie, Christopher, and Collin.
