Virginia B. (Showalter) Cline

Virginia B. Showalter Cline, 85, of Albany, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 at Willson Hospice House in Albany. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 5, 2011 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate and interment will follow at Elk Hill Memorial Park in Elkview, W.V on Saturday. Born April 27, 1926 in Slatyfork, W.V., Mrs. Cline was the daughter of the late John Barney Showalter and Minnie Gibson Showalter. She worked for many years as a secretary for Chevron, was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She enjoyed working with crafts and loved everyone. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Viola Showalter of Albany; brother, John Showalter of Elkview W.V. and niece Vonceil Kimbrel of Tallahassee, FL. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Hall and Hall Funeral Home of Albany was in charge of the arrangements.
