Verna E. (Gordon) Hall

Mrs. Verna E. Hall, 88 of Albany passed away at The Willson Hospice House on July 26, 2013. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Hall will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Suggs and Rev. Bruce Gordon officiating. Mrs. Hall’s cremains will be buried at Midway Cemetery in Meigs, GA Mrs. Hall was born November 16, 1924 in Damascus, GA, to the late Tommy and Anna Gordon. Mrs. Hall was a devoted Homemaker that dearly loved her family. She also loved fishing and gardening as well as playing cards. Mrs. Hall was a member of Southside Baptist Church and she greatly loved reading her Bible. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother. Along with her parents Mrs. Hall is preceded in death by her husband, Seaborn A (Andy) Hall. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rena and Clarke Ford of Jacksonville, FL; her son Don Maples of Albany; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
