Steve William Nichols

Mr. Steve William Nichols, 74, of Albany, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Floral Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery. Born August 26, 1939 in Wakulla County Florida, Mr. Nichols was the son of the late Willie Nichols and Ruby Carter. He worked for many years as a self employed paint contractor and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. In addition to his parents, Mr. Nichols was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Laura Mae Nichols. Survivors include his daughter, Kelli Nichols of Albany; sons, Michael and Sherry Nichols of Leesburg and Greg and Ruthann Nichols of Sylvester; sister, Frankie of Carrabelle, FL; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
