Shizuko 'Suzie' (Yamashiro) Trawick

December 10, 1939 — April 4, 2013

Mrs. Shizuko “Suzie” Trawick, 73, of Albany, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2013 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Rev. Tab Howell will officiate and interment will follow at Andersonville National Cemetery. Born December 10, 1939 in Okinawa, Japan, Mrs. Trawick was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church, a member of the Okinawa Ken-jin Kai of South West Georgia and volunteered for several years with The Lord’s Pantry. Mrs. Trawick was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Searcy Trawick and her father, Toyokichi Yamashiro. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Mariko Trawick of Northern Japan; her mother, Tsuru Yamashiro and grandchildren, Erika and Alice Trawick. The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m., on Sunday April 7, 2013 at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
