Peggy Sue Penland

Mrs. Peggy Sue Penland, 74, of Albany, peacefully passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at Pineview Baptist Cemetery in Funston with Rev. Terry Siniard officiating. Born January 5, 1947, in Albany, Peggy was the daughter of the late Herbert and Peggy Lewis Brock. She spent her years as a homemaker caring for her family whom she loved dearly. A beloved wife, mother, and sister, she will be greatly missed by all. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gene Martin Penland Sr. Those left to cherish her memory include her son Gene Martin Penland Jr. and Cindy Reeves of Albany; sisters, Patricia Hancock (William) and Barbara Price both of Albany; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
