Mrs. Montez Youngblood Johnson, 88, of Albany, passed away, Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Wilson Hospice House. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2012 at the graveside of Riverside Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. Born May 24, 1923, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late, John Bunyon Youngblood and Lois Hinman Youngblood. She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Survivors include her children, John Johnson, Jr., Wesley Johnson and Deborah Johnson Ross all of Albany; brother and sister-in-law, Worthen and Gloria Youngblood of Worth County; sister, Dean Ivey of Atlanta; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, John Hodge Johnson, Sr.; sisters, Mildred Reeves and Marguerite McClain.
