Mary Ann () Shiver

Mrs. Mary Ann Shiver, 81, of Albany passed away at Pruitt Palmyra Health on May 18, 2014. Graveside services for Mrs. Shiver will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Leesburg Cemetery. Rev. Joseph W. Jones will officiate. Born January 10, 1933 in Pelham, Mrs. Shiver was the daughter of the late William C. Shiver and Maime Arbel Hall Shiver. She was a waitress for many years. Mrs. Shiver loved her family and her animals, especially her cats. She was of the Baptist faith and was known by her great sense of humor. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Rainey of Griffin; her brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Jean Shiver of Dawson, her sister Betty Lou Wiggins of Leesburg; 3 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
