Lynn (Denby) Harris

Mrs. Lynn Denby Harris , 57, of Albany passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Palmyra Medical Centers. The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday May 17, 2011 in the chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. Dan Story and Rev. Jackie Cabaniss officiating. Born July 1, 1953 in Albany, Lynn was the daughter of William P. Denby and Deane Watson Denby. She worked for over seventeen years at Miss Jan’s Nursery and was a member of Salem Baptist Church of Sylvester. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Patrick D. Harris of Albany; mother, Deane Watson Denby of Albany; daughters, Deanna Utz and Brittany Harris both of Albany; son, Christopher Utz of Oakfield; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Scott Story of Sylvester; seven grandchildren, Marissa, Taylor, Sara Beth, Ty, Khaki, Sunshine and Hollis and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, William P. Denby and her first husband, Ronald Utz. The family will receive friends Monday, May 16, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Deanna Utz at 159 Tocaste Lane Albany, Ga. 31707.
