Kenneth Carl Monfort

Mr. Kenneth Carl Monfort, 66, of Albany, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Cornerstone Baptist Church 4007 Moultrie Rd. Albany, GA 31705. Rev. Jerry Etheredge will officiate, and the family will visit with friends following the service.

Born June 8, 1956, in Albany, Mr. Monfort was the son of the late Jesse and Verna Long Monfort. He was a master mechanic who worked for Nilo Plantation, and Flint Ag & Turf. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, but most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Bennie and Jack.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 49 years, Pat Monfort of Albany; 2 sons, Kenneth Carl Monfort, II., and Kelly Monfort and Jenna all of Albany; brother, Phil Monfort and Pam of Ft. Gaines; sister, Judy Holloway and Randy of Idaho; 3 grandchildren, Connor, Carter, and Warren; several nieces, and nephews.
