Henry Bostmeyer

Henry J. Brostmeyer, 90, of Putney passed away Friday, April 24, 2009 at his home. Graveside funeral services honoring the life of Mr. Brostmeyer will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Floral Memory Gardens with full military honors. Henry John Brostmeyer was born May 31, 1918 in Lafe, AK to the late John Fred Brostmeyer and Cora Arlena Kappelmann Brostmeyer. Mr. Brostmeyer served our country in the Navy having served in WWII and The Korean Conflict. He was an avid gardener and will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. In addition to his parents Mr. Brostmeyer was preceded in death by his wife, Gussie Jones Brostmeyer. Survivors include his son, Paul Brostmeyer of Albany; his daughter, Doris Daniel of Nampa, ID; sister, Emma Kreienkamp of St. Louis, MO; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, April 27, 2009 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
