Gayle Marie (Derks ) Furman

Mrs. Gayle Marie Furman, 64, of Albany, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. Born June 13, 1951 in San Bernardino, CA, Mrs. Furman was the daughter of the late Phillip and Audrey Stanga Derks. She was a loving and caring homemaker that always put her family first. She was very proud of all her family, especially her twin grandsons and enjoyed gardening and cooking. Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Junius Wayne Furman; son and daughter-in-law, David and Lisa Furman of Albany and two twin grandsons, Davis and Lee Furman of Albany. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Furman was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Derks. The family is honoring the request of Mrs. Furman and there will be no public services.
