Eddie Lewin Williams

Mr. Eddie Lewin Williams, 66, of Sylvester, passed away, Monday, March 26, 2012 at Sylvester Healthcare. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 30, 2012 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home with Rev. Robin Chaplin officiating. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery. Mr. Williams was born June 13, 1945 in Albany, son of the late Lewin Williams and Bertha Voncile Davis Williams. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era and he was a talented musician. Survivors include his son, Shane Higgs of Washington, D.C.;his daughters, Sarah L. Houston of Doerun, and Kim Merrell; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at Hall and Hall Funeral Home.
