Danny Gene Terry

Danny Gene Terry, 51, of Sylvester, passed away, Thursday, January 14, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services honoring the life of Mr. Terry will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2010 in the Chapel of Hall and Hall Funeral Home. Revered Marshall Kennedy and Reverend Fred McCoy will officiate with interment to follow in Floral Memory Gardens. Born May 25, 1958 in Valdosta, Mr. Terry was the son of the late Eugene Terry and Mary Elizabeth Dillard Terry. He worked in construction for many years, enjoyed hunting, fishing and was of the Baptist faith. He will be remembered as a family man that enjoyed being with his family and friends. Survivors include his fiancé, Sandra T. Null of Sylvester; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Heather Terry; daughter, Stephanie Terry; Sister, Kathy Hamrick and her fiancé, John Clark of Albany; two grandchildren, Justice and Max; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and close friends. The family will receive friends at Hall and Hall Funeral Home Friday, January 15, 2010 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
