Charles E. 'Chuck' Simpson

Charles E. (Chuck) Simpson passed away peacefully on May 28, 2015 in Orlando, Fl. Chuck was born in Lynn, MA, on April 12, 1950, son of the late Charles and Phyllis Simpson. He was raised in Albany, GA and graduated from Dougherty High School in 1968. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed in Valdosta, GA and Thailand. Upon leaving the service Chuck completed his college degree in Psychology. Moving to Orlando Chuck began his respected and proud career in both the automobile and R.V. industry, culminating in 25 years as the Vice President of Independence RV in Winter Garden, FL. He is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Barbara and her daughters Kristen and Kelly; his son Todd of Orlando, siblings Irene Simpson, Mary Simpson McRee of Albany, Tish Simpson Sapp of St. Petersburg FL and Mike and Brian Simpson of Hilton Head Island SC; four loving granddaughters; and numerous devoted nieces and nephews. Chuck will be remembered for his magnanimous presence and his boundless love of family and friends. He possessed the ability to make everyone feel special and treated all he met with dignity and respect. His loss will truly be felt by all that have had the pleasure to be in the radius of his smile. His remains have been cremated and a private memorial service will be held.
